PoGoSo (“us,” “we,” or “our”) is a social platform based on multimedia content. Our products include our Android and iOS apps, and our website (our “Products”). This page informs you of our policies regarding collecting, using, and disclosing Personal Information when you use our Products.

By using our Products, you agree to the collection and use of information by this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not use our Products. Information Collection and UseWe collect several types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

When you use our Products, we may collect personal information that you provide to us. This includes:

Account Information

When you set up an account, we may ask you to provide information about yourself, including your name, phone number, state, Lok Sabha constituency, gender, email address, and date of birth. 

We may also ask you to provide us with some additional personal information about you that will be visible in our Products, such as a profile picture, and a bio in your profile to tell others more about you. When you change your profile picture we store a copy of the new picture you upload and retain all profile pictures you uploaded previously for trust and safety purposes and by our data retention policies.

When you use our Products, we collect additional personal information based on your activity and other personal information you might choose to provide. This includes:

Usage And Activity Information

We collect information about when and how you use our Products. Among other things, this may include:

1. Content of the posts (text, images, graphics, audio, visuals, etc.)
2. Users you follow on our Products
3. Users who follow you on our products
4. People who have visited your profile and vice versa
5. Information on your browser’s user agent string and server logs, including your IP address, information in the cookies and activity on the Products
6. URL information, time stamp, visit information, your browsing history on our Products
7. Device information, such as make, model and operating system of the device used for browsing our Products
8. Date of download and/or reinstall of our Product
9. Events related to your actions (follows, reactions to posts, time spent, how often you use our Products, etc)
10. Users who send you chat requests and have chatted with you;
11. The Unique Device Identifier you use to access our Products; and
12. Language.
13. Locational information as permitted by you in your mobile device settings. We do not collect any further information which is not specifically communicated to you as per this Privacy Policy.
14. You have the ability and choice to restrict certain kinds of information from being collected by adjusting your phone and device settings. Please refer to your phone and device user manuals for more information.

We may collect additional information at other times, including but not limited to, when you provide feedback(s), respond to surveys or polls, provide comments, or communicate with us. This information may include your name, e-mail id, mobile number, location, etc., and only such information that you may choose to specifically provide to us.

We use cookies (small text files sent by your computer each time you visit our website, unique to your PoGoSo account or your browser) to get log data. Some of these cookies are used to help us understand how you use our Products, how many people use our service, and how they use it. Other cookies are used to help us track the efficiency of our advertising campaigns on other platforms.

If you permit us to sync your contacts, we may store them securely on our server and use this information to invite them to join our Products, suggest accounts to follow and tailor your feeds.

If we were to engage in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or similar transaction or proceeding that involves the transfer of the information described in this Policy, we would disclose your information to parties involved in such a process (for example, a purchaser).

User Rights on PoGoSo

We are committed to ensuring that you have full empowerment on PoGoSo platform and are completely aware of the rights you are entitled to while using our services. You possess several rights regarding the information we retain about you:

Rectification: You have the right to seek, correct, update, and modify the information we hold to ensure its accuracy.

Cancellation: You have the right to request the cancellation or erasure, free of charge, of your personal data when it is inadequate, excessive, or unnecessary. This is subject to lawful processing measures and any legal requirements.

We regularly update our Privacy Policy.
